Precautions

  • Remove the menstrual cup before intercourse
  • KE‑A is not a contraceptive device and does not prevent pregnancy
  • Discontinue use if you experience any vaginal infection

Choosing the Right Cup – Refer to sizing guidelines as below to find a cup that suits you.

Sterilization Before Use – Just pour boiling water into a container and submerge the menstrual cup for 2 mins. It’s simple and hassle-free!

Practice Makes Perfect – Insertion and removal may take a few tries to master. It’s normal to feel unsure at first, so stay patient and give yourself time to adjust.

Folding Techniques – Learn common folding methods, like the C-fold, or punch-down fold, to make insertion easier. Experiment with folds to find what works best for you.

Relaxation Is Key – Relax your muscles during insertion or removal. A tense pelvic floor can make the process more challenging.

Positioning – The cup sits lower than a tampon. Insert it fully so that it rests in the vaginal canal (not too high). Ensure it opens completely to avoid leaks. Once the cup is inside, let it pop open. Run your finger around the base of the cup to ensure there are no folds. Hold the base of the cup—not the stem—and rotate it 360 degrees (one full rotation) to create a secure seal and prevent leakage.

Removal – Don’t pull the stem directly. Instead, pinch the base of the cup to release the suction seal and gently slide it out. Take your time to avoid spills or discomfort.

Emptying – We recommend you empty and clean your cup 3 to 4 times in a 24hr period for better hygiene.

Cleaning – Rinse the cup with water and a mild, unscented soap or use dedicated menstrual cup cleaning products before reinserting it. To maintain hygiene, sterilize the cup before storing it. Clean the small holes below the rim by gently stretching the cup around the holes while rinsing under warm water. Depending on your flow, you may need to empty the cup more frequently.

Comfort Adjustments – Trim the stem if it feels too long or causes discomfort, but be careful not to damage the base.

Leaks Are Normal at First – Slight leaks may occur until you get the hang of it. Wear a liner as backup during the first few cycles while you’re learning.

Storage Between Cycles – Store the cup in the storage pouch provided between use and between periods.

Listen to Your Body – If something doesn’t feel right, stop and reassess. Consult instructions or reach out to the brand’s support team for guidance. Refer to the precautions for more info.
